Eastern part of the Ahmedabad has historically lagged behind the western region in terms of development and access to basic amenities including avenues of higher education. It was with this perspective that the institute was set up on 6th September, 2004 as a part of the efforts to narrow down this divide and also to provide the students belonging to the eastern region, access to education leading to Bachelor’s degree in the discipline of management.
